INTRODUCTION
RaceGorilla started from the passion for sports and performance. As athletes and race organisers ourselves, we recognised the need for an easy & affordable timing solution for sport events.
First we developed an end to end competition management platform without the need of additional equipment: RaceGorilla Competition. An advanced dashboard covering everything from subscription to results together with an app on your smartphone for start, finish, split points and judging. In 2020 we launched RaceGorilla Training, a unique and innovative training tool – or stopwatch if you like – for up to 10 athletes/teams with (live) results and the possibility to start and stop with two different smartphones. TEAM
RaceGorilla – a Fair Sport Solutions brand – is a Dutch company founded by Robert Bouten and Maarten Holdrinet in 2016. Three years later in 2019 they were joined by Rob van Bommel. Together they are responsible for day-to-day management together with a team of part-time specialists, developers and event supporters.
Robert Bouten
Robert is an experienced Project & Bid Manager within the engineering & IT consulting industry and Beijing 2008 Olympic finalist. He is skilled in different project management methodologies (PMI, Prince2, Agile) and many IT domains. Strong entrepreneurship mindset with an Engineer's Degree obtained in Management of Technology at the Delft University of Technology.

Maarten Holdrinet
Maarten started for ChampionChip, a timing company that completely rejuvenated the athletics world and made the lives of participants and organizers a lot easier. ChampionChip facilitated some of the World's largest marathons in Boston, Rotterdam, Vienna and Hong Kong.
AMB i.t. (IndyCar, Nascar) and ChampionChip decided to join forces in 2008. They merged into the new brand MYLAPS Sports where Maarten became Timing Teamleader of Mylaps Event Timing.
While working at some of the largest sports events in the world it was Maarten who then realised there is also a need in the sports community for an easier, more affordable timing and results competition management system. RaceGorilla was born...

Rob van Bommel
After his study Rob became a business and management consultant with two of the worlds most highly regarded multinational corporations, ING where he rose to the position of member of the Board of Directors for the Czech Republic and Halifax Bank of Scotland (Clerical Medical Insurance) where he was a member of the Executive Committee for Continental Europe.
Rob lived in Australia for 11 years. There he worked for KPMG after which he founded Sportscene Media House in 2009 and the World Paddle Awards (WPA) in 2014. Sportscene became a leading media outlet with clients such as the Australian Institute of Sport, Paddle Australia, Tennis Australia, Red Bull and the IOC.
The WPA was praised as the "United Nations of Paddlesports" (International Olympic Committee) and the "Oscars of Paddlesports" (international media).
Rob has been praised by his clients and colleagues for his results-oriented approach to help businesses in diverse industry sectors tackle complex situations. These same attributes benefit Rob as he further develops RaceGorilla.
